A charming sledge in sound condition for actual use (although see small damage to back left corner in photo - cosmetic only). Stamped with a brass plaque reading: "A.W. Gamage, Holborn, London", a well known department store in the late 1800's - mid-1900's famous for its toys. These also make fantastic pan racks, suspended from the ceiling with hooks on the sledge bars (image credit www.bigpicture.ru)
