Stax bespoke furniture. Everything from hand painted chairs to bespoke staircases and everything in between. On reflection, our most popular pieces have been handmade dining tables designed in collaboration with the customer and made to order. The joinery and paint shops have been busy turning ideas into reality, allowing each and every client to leave with a statement unique piece created just for them.
After 20 years in the business our stocks of reclaimed timber are more abundant than ever, from the pink hues of cherry wood to red pine and thick heavy oak we have it all. As such, the choices and combinations are endless. A rustic and chunky look achieved by re-sawn Victorian roof joists salvaged from a convent, or a thinner more elegant style from reclaimed floor boards.
"I have the same one" isn't a turn of phrase our customers ever have to use, and each piece has a story to tell. Using reclaimed materials is a plus for the environment and brings character to an otherwise often overlooked item in any household.
Social media has been great, with thousands of new ideas every day through Pinterest and Instagram for both ourselves and customers alike each day is different for the team at Stax, putting personality into every piece.
