A statement chair can instantly update your home and offers the chance to go bold with your decor. Add some chutzpah to any room with our stock of eclectic feature chairs - from contemporary to classic, we've got something to suit every taste. But we don't just source, we also upcycle, recycle and repurpose here at Stax - here's our top five statement favourites we've found or made just for you.
Our design team have been going all Max Mc Murdo on us, and look what they've made! A vintage cast iron tractor seat manufactured by Davey Sleep & Co, Plymouth has been re-sprayed in satin black and mounted on a custom made base of reclaimed Jarrah, an Australian hardwood. Eye-catching in any kitchen, or standing desk home office.
Unique, and so comfy - say ahhh to our vintage dentist chair! Perfect for a reading nook, study or mancave. Or maybe you have a barber shop or salon with an industrial vibe? This would make a pretty spectacular statement piece to showoff your style. Uber popular with collectors, these don't turn up so often, so don't miss out.
You don't need to actually own a country farmhouse - this superb settle fits in any abode. It's rich naturally aged patina perfectly sets off cool modern neutrals in the breakfast room, hall or boot-room.
Every closet secret agent needs an ejector seat right? Well, even if you're not a wannabee 007, you can't fail to be wowed by this iconic ejector seat we have in stock. Taken from the Sea Vixen Fighter Jet - a 1950s/60s British two-seat jet fighter, this piece has been superbly recon'd in scarlet vinyl.
The Stax designers have been at it again - this time refashioning old ceiling joists into a rustic and chunky throne style seat using 100% reclaimed pine.
